We’re a 5-piece rock and blues band based in Cranbrook, British Columbia, Canada. Founded in 2006 by guitarist J.C. Burgess, the band started as a power trio and has since evolved into a dynamic five-member group known for high-energy live performances and authentic blues-rock sound. Whether you’re looking to book a band for a local event or enjoy great live music in the Kootenays, we’re bringing our musical passion to the stage. As a rock band in the Kootenays, we pride ourselves on connecting with our audience through powerful performances. What we do

SplitShift delivers high-energy live performances featuring classic rock and blues rock cover songs from legendary artists like:
Led Zeppelin, Neil Young, Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR), Stevie Ray Vaughan, Stevie Wonder, The Rolling Stones, Black Sabbath, Georgia Satellites
…and many more crowd favorites!
In addition to covers, we showcase original music written by two of our accomplished songwriters, bringing a fresh edge to our live shows.
